Frequently asked questions.
The basics about accounts, activations and payments.
What is Bumber?
Bumber is a proposed marketplace interface for temporary SMS activations. Actual coverage depends on the configured provider and its terms.
How do I receive an SMS?
Choose an available country and service, confirm the displayed price, then view the activation in My Numbers. Availability and delivery depend on configured provider access. Number purchases remain disabled until provider settings and pricing are verified.
What if a code doesn't arrive?
Follow the provider's cancellation and refund rules. The app should never promise an automatic refund unless the provider confirms eligibility.
Can I use these numbers on any platform?
No. Some platforms prohibit temporary numbers or may reject them. Always follow the destination platform's rules and applicable law.
How do I add money?
When a payment provider is configured and enabled, choose an amount in Wallet and complete checkout. Bumber credits the wallet only after server-side verification.
Are number purchases and payments available?
The Bumber API includes account, wallet and provider workflows, but real payments and number purchases stay disabled until the operator configures provider credentials, verifies pricing and completes end-to-end tests.
